Midway Cemetery is located halfway between Meadville and Bude at 1102 Highway 184 East in Franklin County, Mississippi. The Cemetery was established on November 30, 1914, when the Homochitto Lumber Company conveyed approximately 3.5 acres of land. Subsequently, the Cemetery Association acquired several other tracts adjoining the initial 3.5 acres and today consists of 16.90 acres. Midway Cemetery is jointly owned by the Town of Bude and the Town of Meadville, Mississippi. The Board of Trustees consists of three residents of the Town of Bude, appointed by the Mayor and Board of Alderman of the Town of Bude and three Meadville residents appointed by the Mayor and Board of Alderman of Meadville.
Midway Cemetery Donations
The Cemetery Board relies on contributions to properly honor the memories of our loved ones with the proper upkeep of the grounds. All donations are tax-deductible and very much appreciated.
